There are people around the world evidently exchanging high fives for having “controlled” the outcome of our recent elections.
Before they start downloading election tapes to their laptops alongside their copies of Black Hawk Down, they should take some time and watch the actual transfer of power unfold in Washington over the next few weeks.
Most of these celebrants have never seen bloodless transfers of power.
So we invite them to watch us.
Watch carefully. We do this every couple of years.
