Senior Airman Benjamin Connery cheers on the pilot of his A-10 Thunderbolt II Oct. 18 at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

Airman Connery is a 455th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron A-10 crew chief and deployed from Moody Air Force Base, Ga.

He is from Cashmere, Wash.
