During the three-day event, U.S. Africa Command’s Operations and Logistics Engineer team, in conjunction with the Africa Partnership Station, led a seminar on maritime oil spill response, covering topics such as maritime safety, environmental protection, and spill preparedness and response.
Approximately 40 professionals from Senegal, Cape Verde, and the Gambia participated in the program, which demonstrates U.S. Africa Command’s commitment to improving environmental security in Africa.
