KUNAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan – A U.S. Army UH-58 Kiowa helicopter flies above Afghanistan’s Kunar province, providing aerial security during Afghanistan’s second national elections, Aug. 20. Afghan National Security Forces were responsible for security of polling locations during the elections, while International Security Assistance Force service members stood by to provide secondary security, if needed.
