Shot By Sniper, US Army Medic Treats Himself

PCU New Mexico Delivered To Navy Four Months Early

MC-12 Arrives, Heralds Activation Of 4th ERS

‘Taliban Hotel’ Destroyed
KHOST PROVINCE, Afghanistan
U.S Army Sgt. Joshua Smith (left), infantryman, and 1st Lt. Kevin Jewell, Jr., a platoon leader, both from the 1st Squadron, 40th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, out of Fort Richardson, Alaska, clear and search the “Taliban Hotel,” a safehouse utilized by insurgent fighters infiltrating Afghanistan, Dec. 18.
The 1-40th Cav. Rgt. Soldiers partnered with the 707th Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, out of Fort Lewis, Wash., and Afghan National Security Forces to level the safehouse.
