Remnant Of Lackland’s Past Gets New Home

A military open-bay dormitory is being moved Feb. 27, 2010, on Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. The dormitory, which was built in the 1940s and housed basic trainees in the '50s, '60s and '70s, will become a part of the History and Traditions Museum's enlisted heritage exhibit following renovation and restoration.
