Russian Ice Camp Overflight

KODIAK, Alaska - A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak HC-130 Hercules aircrew conducted a second overflight the Russian North Pole 37 research station more than 500 miles northeast of Point Barrow Saturday evening. The researchers reported they were well supplied, in no immediate distress and were preparing for the arrival of the Rossiya, an Arktika-class Russian nuclear-powered icebreaker, which was reported being only two days out. ARABIAN SEA (May 20, 2010) The Military Sealift Command fast combat support ship USNS Supply (T-AOE 6) performs a replenishment-at-sea with the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Working For The Personnel Downrange

Eplee is a member of the security force element for the Paktika Provincial Reconstruction Team and is currently working as a liaison between the brigade and PRT commanders.
Paktika PRT is a joint team whose mission is to help legitimize the government of Afghanistan through development, governance and agricultural initiatives.
Eplee, a native of Greenville, S.C., is deployed from the 1/178 Field Artillery B battery, South Carolina Army National Guard.

Deployed Airmen Keep Home Communication Lines Open Through Reading Program

Staff Sgt. Gavin Ramos is video-recorded April 8, 2010, while reading a book for his children at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia. Sergeant Ramos was the first Airman at the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing to participate in the USO's United Through Reading program. The program allows a deployed servicemember to read a book while being recorded, and the book and a DVD are sent home to a child to view and follow along. Sergeant Ramos is a services journeyman with the 380th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron. He is deployed from the 154th Force Support Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
