South Carolina Soldiers Provide Security In Laghman Provincial Capital

Capt. Saddler Taylor (left) of Columbia, S.C. and Staff Sgt. Caleb Welch (right) of Turbeville, S.C., both of the 1-178th Field Artillery Battalion, South Carolina Army National Guard, provide security for the Laghman Provincial Reconstruction Team on a rural road outside of Mehtar Lam, the capital of Laghman province. Taylor serves in the force protection section of the 1-178th Field Artillery Battalion in Kabul, Afghanistan and Welch serves on the security force team for the Laghman Provincial Reconstruction Team in Mehtar Lam.
