KUNAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan - Hosai Sediqi of San Diego, linguist for the Iowa National Guard's 734th Agribusiness Development Team, is greeted by Afghan girls outside their home in Karula, a small town outside of Asadabad, the capital of Afghanistan's Kunar Province. The Iowa ADT visited the home Jan. 13 to conduct a quality assurance/quality control check of a small poultry project that provided 23 hens and two roosters to each of six families who live in Karula.
