New Senior Leader Welcomed

Command Sgt. Maj. Aaron Alexander takes the non-commissioned officers sword from Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, from Command Sgt. Maj. Jim Thomson in a transfer of responsibility ceremony June 20.

The ceremony signified Alexander’s assumption of responsibility as the senior non-commissioned officer for the CAB’s support battalion, 601st ASB.

Convoy Security In Baghdad

The Kearney, Neb., unit later went on a convoy security mission to Forward Operating Base Shield to deliver much-needed supplies.
